The Progressive Work Institute Launches to Help Organizations Create Healthier Work Environments to Reduce Burnout and Promote Worker Well-being Globally
[Los Angeles, California] – The Progressive Work Institute, a fully funded 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a global community of scholar-practitioners, is excited to announce its official launch. The Institute is dedicated to helping organizations create healthy work environments by tailoring the evidence based Progressive Work Model (PWM) to each organization’s unique workforce needs through a free 6-month pilot program.
The PWM is a forward-thinking framework used to organize work activities and processes within an organization that meets the work-life balance needs of the modern workforce.

In an era defined by rapid technological change, shifting labor markets, and evolving work environments, the Progressive Work Institute seeks to address the critical need for solutions that prioritize worker well-being.
Key Global Initiatives:
- Mitigate worker burnout.
- Create psychologically safe workplaces to reduce toxicity.
- Recoup the $322 billion lost to turnover globally, of which 15-20% is attributed to burnout.
“Burnout persists primarily due to toxic workplaces, unmanageable workloads, & pay gaps. Organizations need to prioritize worker well-being.” said Dr. Monika Doss, Founder & Executive Director of the Progressive Work Institute. “No one should experience burnout so our approach is an evidence-based practical solution to help organizations cultivate healthy work environments while optimizing performance.”
The Progressive Work Institute invites organizations, stakeholders, and community leaders to learn more about its free pilot program and join the long overdue movement to meet the work-life balance needs of the modern workforce.
